PP-10 is a Grass Root Greenfield Project of 3000 MW capacity, consisting of 36 GTs with a provision for Combined Cycle and
Turbine Inlet Air Cooling with the Tank Farm of 6x50,000 m3 and all the associated plant infrastructures and systems including training for the SEC personnel. It is a strategic and vital project for the Ministry of the Electricity and the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to provide much needed power in the Central Region.
Arabian Bemco had the lowest bid of US$ 3,000,000,000. Again, Bemco has proved to be the most competitive Contractor in the Region. The Project was awarded to Bemco and the contract was signed by H.E. Dr. Saleh Al-Awaji, Deputy Minister for Electricity and Chairman of SEC, Eng. Ali Al-Barrak, CEO and President of SEC, Sh. Saleh Bin Laden, Executive Board Member of Arabian Bemco, and Mr. Henry Sarkissian, CEO of Arabian Bemco on 30th June, 2008.
