Scope of Work

Emergency/Standby Generating Plant consisting of 8 generating sets each 2.5 MW with rated voltage of 13.8 KV. The plant is fully automatic - in case of SCECO power failure, it will automatically start and deliver power to essential loads: Mosque, Car Park, Tunnel, CCTV, Telephone, Fire Alarm in a programmable and

controlled manner. A UPS system is available to cater for the transition period.

A "Primary Switchgear" which receives 13.8 KV from Haram II Substation and distributes power to the Plant Complex to both essential loads e.g. generating plant and non-essential loads e.g. chillers.

The "Emergency Switchgear" takes power from the "Primary Switchgear". In case of SCECO power failure, it delivers power to the Plant Complex, Mosque and Car Park.
